Acid attack on a girl in Mumbai

                                                 

Today  a  stalker  assaulted   a 18  year  old  girl  and  then  forced  her to  drink  acid   and  then  pushed  her  into  the  sea   when  she  refused  his  advances.  Well,  she  is  critical  and  is  in  some  Mumbai   hospital. The incident  comes just  after  a  month,   after  nursing  student  Preeti  Rathi  was  attacked  at  the  busy  Mumbai  suburban  railway  station  after  which  she  died  of  burn  injuries. 

People  are  protesting  outside  the  home  ministers  home  as  I  write  this.

Anyway,  few  days  back  the  supreme  court    passed  a   law   regulating  the  sale  and  purchase   of  acid.

 And   some  or  other court  have  been  continuously, since  1947 (India's  independence),  passing  some  or  other  law   trying   to  prevent  crimes  against  women/ children  and  god  know  who  and  who.

But  who   gives  a   shit. Acid  is  still   sold  across  the  country  like  distilled  water  and  crimes  against   women   etc.  continue.

There  are  2  questions  that  have  to  be  asked  here :

1. Why  are  some  Indians  not  scared  of  the  law?

2. Why  does   India  treat  it’s   women  like  shit?

                                             

First  I  will  try  to  answer  the  first  question:  Why  are  some  Indians /criminals  not  scared  of  the law? 

1.  You  have  broken  the  traffic  rules? No, problem  bribe  the  traffic  policeman  with  a  100 rupee  note  and  he  will  let  you  go.

2. You  have  burned  a  bride  for  dowry? No  problem,  you  just  have  to  bribe  the  police  station  supreme  and   he  will  write  it  down  as  suicide.

3.  You  have  murdered  someone? There  is  always  the  choice  of  settling  matters  in  the  police  station  amicably  amongst   the  grieving  parties…of  course  you  have  to  bribe.

4. You  have  raped  someone? Hire  a  great  lawyer  and  he  will  point  out  the  victim  is  a  sex  addict  and  bribe  a  few  people.

5. As  for  robbery?  Fraud?  And  such  small  crimes  you  just  have  to  pay  a  cut…commission  to  the  police  in  the  area.  Not  only  you  will  go  free  but  will  get  police  protection , of course  till  you  keep  paying  the  cut.
6. You  are  an  industrialist  and  want  to  dump  toxic  waste  into  someone’s  drinking  water?  Big  deal  just  send  the  monthly  envelope  to  the  police  station.

7. You  are  a  land  shark? Very  good  just  give  away  a  flat  to  the  police  station  big  boss  and  you  can  build  as  many  sky  scrapers  as  you  want  even  if  it  means  encroaching  into  the  national  forest, government  land  or  someone’s  personal  property.

                                          

This  is  applicable  for  any  crime  you  can  think  of…..the more  creative  you  are  the  greater  the  chances  for  you  to  prosper,  just  keep  the  commission  coming. Don’t  get  me  wrong  this  is  a  democratic  country…every  single  soul  has  a  right  and  is  totally  FREE  to  bribe   and  this  bribing   phenomenon   is   not   just  about  rich  or  the  privileged…. You  just  need  to  have   money  and  should  know  how  to  bargain.

Get  a  good  Bargain? That  anyone  knows, right?  The  kind  of  haggling  you  do  with  the  local  vendor.  That’s  all…no  need  to  fear  just  because  you  are  faced  with   a  law  officer….they  are  just  as  malleable  and  ductile  as  your  grocer. 
And  if  you  can’t  please  the  police  there  are  way  too  many  people  to  bribe  before  you 

get  convicted….and  if  you  do  get  a  jail term   then  there  is  parole  where  one  can  get  out  for  the  lamest  excuse  and  then  roam  free  and  if  all  else  fails  go  ahead  fight  the  general  election and  get  elected  into  the  parliament…..then  of  course  no  one  can  touch  you.  After  all  we  are  a  democratic  country…totally  free  for  all.  Those  who  don’t  want  to  believe  me  can  go  and  Google  and  the  number  of  scams  the  government  of  India  does.  Basically  what  I  am  saying  is  if  you  can  bribe  someone  you  can  do  anything  in  India.

                                

So, why   should   anyone  gives  a  shit  about  laws  when  you  know  that  you  can  get  out  of  a  crime  by  just  bribing  a  few  officials….why  waste  your  precious  time  in  understanding  and  fearing  the  laws…..so,  go  ahead…rob  someone,  force  someone  to  drink  acid,  burn  a bride  for  dowry,  murder  someone  for  land  even  better  if  you  are  a  seasoned  criminal   but  remember  to  send  gifts  on  Diwali, Holi, new  years  eve, Christmas  eve…and  any  festivals  you  can  think  of……gift  ideas  just  to  make  your  life  easy:

A  pair  of  kanjeevaram  silk  saris  for  the  wife.
A  fridge  or  a  car  for  the  family
A  holiday  to  Maldives  for  the  man  of  the  house
A  laptop  for  junior.

                        

Of  course  all  of  us  are  not  corrupt.  For  example :  Some  of  us  are  so  honest  that  just  to  get  a  driving  license  we  spend  an  entire  lifetime.  Why? Because  we  want  to  do  it  the  right  way  and  not  go  through  some  middleman…..by  the  way  you  get  a  license  in  a month  if  you  go  through  middle  men  who  are  also  legitimate  driving  schools....but  if  you  want  to  learn  driving  on  your  own  and   then  apply  for   a  license…you  are  not  getting  any  license  in this   lifetime. So  going   through  the  driving  school is  the  only   way  we  know  today…. No,  this  is  not  called   bribing  this  is  how  bribing  becomes  the   normal   way  of  life.

Taliban  screwed  their  countries’   by  religious  fanaticism  we  Indians  will  screw  our  country  by  fanatic  corruption! Voila.
